*Letisha C. Pena* My name is Letisha C. Pena (Arriaga) and this is my website. I created this website for my family and friends. I have family from all around and this is a perfect way for us to keep in touch and see how everyone is doing. I enjoy taking pictures and sharing them with everyone. I graduated college from National-Louis University in June 2007. I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently a fourth grade teacher in District 300. I was very fortunate to find a job fresh out of college. This experience has been challenging and stressful but I love it! I am very grateful to be working with a great staff! I never thought I would teach fourth grade but they really are good kids and I will probably stick with the older ones. I enjoy being around children and I truley believe that I can help make a difference in their lives. My plans for the future are to go back to school for literacy. This past six months I have had the opportunity to work with a great reading recovery teacher and she showed me how fun it can be to teach students how to read and write. My other hobbies include: snowboarding, scrapbooking, taking pictures, creating photo montages, and listening to music. |
| My family includes My mother, Maria, My father, Fernando, and my sister Veronica. My family is very important to me. I try and see them as often as I can. We have a big family and I consider us to be real close. We see each other on holidays, birthdays, and any other reason to have a party and have a good time. --Just check out the Photo Gallery-- These traditions that my family has instilled in me, I hope to pass down to my family one day. |

I am truly blessed to have found the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with. My husband's name is Andre' Pena. We have been together since June 2000. We got married October 1, 2005 and I have never been happier. I love him very much and look forward to the many years we will share together! |
